Memorial Day honors the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Many Americans observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials, holding family gatherings and participating in parades. Learn more: history.com/topics/holidays/memorial-day-history

Our #CarolineFamily had a great week full of sports, awards, and end of year events. We're getting close!

Happy Mother's Day!

Our Assistant Principals meet regularly as a Professional Learning Community. When the topic is buses, a bus is the perfect classroom! Teacher (and Transportation Coordinator) Garrett Shull did his best to keep his students focused and on task. #CarolineFamily

It was a beautiful day for the annual Police Unity Tour but that's quite a crowd to feed! As usual, our Food Services, Shore Gourmet, and the Denton and Ridgely Lions Clubs handled it all with a delicious lunch!
The Unity Tour raises awareness of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty and raises funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
Thank you to all the riders for honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice. #UnityTour #OneCaroline
