Summer Career Enrichment Program Session I: July 7 - July 17, 2025 Session II: July 14 - July 31, 2025 Location: Easton High School (free transportation provided) This program will engage students in hands-on activities that lead to career paths in cybersecurity, media arts, video design, health, computer science, and engineering. The program is in partnership with People for Change Coalition, Mid-Shore Regional Council, Rural Maryland Council, and Caroline, Dorchester, and Talbot County Public Schools. Ella recently won a gold medal at the SkillsUSA Competition in the category of Cosmetology – Hair, Esthetics, and Nails, held in Westminster, Maryland. Many thanks to the Caroline County Commissioners for proclaiming this Food Waste Prevention Week (April 7–13, 2025)! They welcomed the Green Club from Denton Elementary School as part of their efforts to raise awareness about food waste prevention. During this week, all our schools are participating in activities designed to teach students the benefits of reducing food waste, which include saving money, reducing the negative impact of food waste on the environment, and addressing hunger in our communities. #CarolineFamily #foodwastepreventionweek

Ten of our students had the opportunity to attend the Man the Shore Summit at UMES, a transformative experience designed to uplift and inspire young black males on their journey to leadership and education. Through dynamic workshops on leadership development, financial literacy, career readiness and manhood, they gained valuable skills to shape their futures. Many thanks to former Maryland Teacher of the Year Dr. Richard Warren for providing our students the opportunity, and Caroline's Mr. Jackson and Mr. Howie for making participation possible! #CarolineFamily
