🚒 Our Kindergarten and PreK 3 & 4 students had an exciting visit from the Preston Volunteer Fire Company today! They explored the fire trucks, learned about the equipment, and even got a chance to spray the hose like real firefighters! 🔥 Big thanks to our local heroes for making this morning one to remember! ❤️ #PESPantherpride

This was a great way to start our Monday morning! Our first school buddy meet and greet was a success as big and little buddies connected over breakfast. There were so many smiles as they shared ideas on how to stay safe walking to school together this Wednesday, 10/9, for Walk to School Day!

What’s happening at PES this week? Glad you asked! In Science, 5th graders explored how to make a functioning circuit, our Kindergarten Panthers explored MakerSpace in our media center, and in Pre-K 4 did taste testing to find out which foods were salty, sweet, sour and bitter! You never quite know what kind of learning is gonna be happening at PES! Great job everybody! #PESPantherpride

Kindergarten taste tested beets, prunes, chickpeas, and ruby red grapefruit juice today! 🌱 We liked some things and others weren’t our favorites, but we learned the importance of trying new foods and remembering not to yuck anyone else's yum! 😋 Thank you to our wonderful partner, The Maryland Snap-Ed Program, Mid-Shore Region 🍽️ #ReadForHealth #PESPantherpride
