October is #PrincipalsMonth and we're so proud of our dedicated principal family! To highlight them, we asked a few 'getting to know you' questions. Wondering what FES Ms. Brohawn had to say? #CarolineFamily

FES Principal Brohawn spent some time with future #FESFalcons recently at the Federalsburg Judy Center. We love knowing that thanks to Judy Centers, children can become part of the #CarolineFamily as early as six months old and stay right through graduation! #MDJudyCenters @MdPublicSchools

Attention FES Families! We want to alert you to a new trend that has impacted our students, and that is the "One Chip Challenge" that students have seen on TikTok. This chip is comprised of some of the hottest peppers on record. The goal is for students to try to "handle" a bite of the chip. Some of the outcomes of eating and even touching the chip can result in a burning mouth, excessive coughing, excessive slobbering, tears, and vomiting. If the dust from the chip touches the skin, it can burn the skin or the eyes if a student has touched the chip and then touched his/her face. Please watch out for this snack. It is dangerous and should not be in school. Thank you for supporting us in this effort of keeping all students safe.
