Students from Colonel Richardson Middle School (CRMS) participated in the First Lego League scrimmage, held at Salisbury Middle School. CRMS fielded two teams, the Colonel Cougars and Richardson’s Robots.
In this competition, participants are required to devise a solution to a problem. They research, design, and subsequently present their findings at a regional competition. They also build and program robots that perform specific tasks during a set time limit. The purpose of this scrimmage was to have a few test runs of their robots as well as practice their research presentation in front of judges in a competition setting.
Approximately 14 teams will be competing against each other at the regional competition on January 20, 2023.
This year there are two teams representing CRMS.
