At the April meeting, the Board recognized Colonel Richardson High School coach Bryan Hall for being named the Bayside Conference Wrestling Coach of the Year.
Supervisor of Instruction Jon Marketto introduced Mr. Hall as the ‘epitome of a leader’. “He puts lots of time and effort into his program,” Mr. Marketto said, “and as a result they have a very successful team at CRHS.” He shared that Mr. Hall’s record was 12 and 5, and pointed out that it is still a growing program. “What is most admirable about Coach Hall is that he doesn’t talk any credit for what he’s done; he always passes praise onto his coaches and students.”
Mr. Hall has been with Caroline County Public Schools since 2012, teaching Physical Education and Health Education at Colonel Richardson Middle School and Colonel Richardson High School. He has been the CRHS Wrestling coach during his entire tenure with CCPS. Mr. Hall has also been the recipient of the Simon A. McNeely Award through SHAPE MD in 2022 and the Bayside Wrestling Coach of the Year in 2017.
