Colonel Richardson High School students took top honors at the Maryland State Solo and Ensemble Festivals which occurred on consecutive Saturdays in May.
· Lucy Pearce and Charley Blunt earned a Superior rating performing a Level 4 cello and bass duet at Anne Arundel Community College on Saturday on May 11.
· Alyssa Bradley earned a Superior rating performing a Level 4 clarinet solo at Towson University on May 18.
These musicians all earned medals which they proudly displayed at their final CRHS Spring Concert on May 17.
“The whole Colonel family is incredibly proud of these students,” said Thomas Cheezum, Director of Bands and Orchestra for both Colonel Richardson High School and Colonel Richardson Middle School. “They are all exceptionally talented and have worked hard to hone their craft.”
