Discovery Day, an annual resource fair for families of children ages birth to five years old, will be held on Wednesday, May 15 from 10:00-12:00 pm at Tuckahoe State Park's Cherry Lane Picnic Pavilion in Ridgely.
The event will feature a free petting zoo, a park Scales and Tales program, a Playseum, snacks, giveaway and much more. Local agencies will be in attendance with professionals from children's health, development, education, safety and recreation on hand to answer questions and provide information. If you are concerned about your baby's growth and development, have questions about your child's health, are looking for quality, affordable daycare or wondering about preschool, or just want to explore local resources, this event is for you.
Discovery Day is sponsored by Family Support Services and the Special Education Citizens Advisory Committees of Caroline County Public Schools and Talbot County Public Schools.
